29-31 Weeks :)

I've managed to get behind once again.. I apologize for that. I feel terrible not blogging each week. Below are pictures from the week past and I will post the 3D pictures of our handsome little guy :) 

 How far along? 31 Weeks 3  Days

Weight Gain: 6 Lbs

Maternity clothes? Yep

Stretch marks? Few small marks

Sleep: Sleep when I can. Hard to get comfy, heartburn keeps me awake as well.

Best moment this week: My sister being there for me when I was completely scared. I started Wednesday night with swelling in my feet and ankles. Thursday I called the Dr's office and they told me to check my BP. It was 151/92. I called the Dr's office, they said "Come in right away". When trying to contact my mom, she didn't answer, so I called my dad. He heard how upset I was (could barely speak i was crying too much) so he sent my sister to come get me and drive me the rest of the way to the dr's. My sister helped calm me down big time!

Miss Anything? Not having a pain when i try to shave my legs, being able to breathe correctly, sleeping on my back, eating sweets, i can go on and on..

Movement: All the time now! Starting to hurt also.. :) 

Food cravings: anything i eat gives me heartburn.. no big time cravings right now. Just want chocolate so i have to have sugar free.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Not lately

Have you started to show yet: Oh yeah..

Gender: It's a BOY!

Labor Signs: Just Braxton Hicks.
Belly Button in or out? In - don't think it will be long before it's out.

Wedding rings on or off? Off..  with my feet swelling happening as quickly as it did, i didn't want to keep my rings on and have to cut them off. They're on my necklace now.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Emotional..

Looking forward to:  Decorating his nursery :) Can't wait :)

26-28 Weeks :)

I'm so sorry.. I've gotten behind again. We had a Tropical Storm come through here on June 24-June 27th and it's been chaotic ever since. I sit at the computer all day at work, and it's the last thing I want to do at the end of the day.
We have had an ultrasound since the last time i blogged.  :) Colton is measuring around 2.5 lbs now :) He gained a lb and a half, mama gained nothing :) Dr's are very happy about that because of me being diabetic, they don't want too much weight  gain. Hopefully that shows them i'm taking this serious.

Everyone says he is already looking like Curtis. :)  He's already handsome :) It's hard for me to realize that in a few months, this little man will be here :) I've been a emotional wreck these past few weeks. I'm so happy :) Seems like we've waited forever to love a child, and it's just around the corner :)

Sleep: Lately sleep has been a thing of the past because i'm always up going potty.

Best moment this week: The fact that Colton is starting to really react to mommy and daddy. When Curtis talks, he's starting to move and reacts to rubbing my belly moreso then before. :)

Movement: All the time now! :) 

Food cravings: Mexican and ice cream/pudding..

Anything making you queasy or sick: Have had little bits of nausea.. not really anything making me nauseous though.

Looking forward to:  July 25th next dr's appt ultrasound :) Also for our 30 weeks 3d ultrasound, but might be a little later then 30 weeks since curtis is hunting that weekend. :(

25 Weeks :)

This week has been pretty exciting. Curtis got to feel a REAL kick for the FIRST time! :) He was pretty amazed that one night before bed (father's day, this past sunday) he had his hand on my belly.. Colton really wasn't moving around or anything. He said "Wake up, Colton".. then a few seconds went by and he said, "Colton, kick my hand, buddy!" and all the sudden, he kicked! It was the most amazing thing ever! :) We are both so excited about him coming into this world and can't wait for him to be here! :) He is definitely going to be loved! :)

Sleep: It's a thing of the past. Can never get comfortable :( Either that or Colton thinks it's party time. LOL

Best moment this week: Curtis got to feel a real kick for the first time! :) It was amazing!

19 Weeks - Last week in the teens!

~~19 Weeks~~

Some exciting pictures this week! We had an ultrasound on Tuesday May 8th, and got to see our little man, Colton, again :) He was definitely  not shy this time :) This was a visit with the Dr's office. They had to do their gender determination. Well, we're still having a boy, and there's no doubt he's a boy! LOL Check out the images below.

We also learned in this ultrasound that there are some spine concerns. We go to the high risk pregnancy dr on thursday 5/17/2012 at 10:00 am. Nothing really to worry about. Colton doesn't have any life threatening concerns or disabilities. We were very concerned with spina bifida because my sister has it, so it's in my side of the family. They determined no SB, but have another concern. Will inform you guys when we find out more. Please keep us in your prayers.

Movement: Feeling the movement more now then ever! :) Curtis actually felt him move one time. He was so excited!

Sleep: Sleep is very good :) When i'm not having crazy dreams..

Best moment this week: Feeling flutters more frequently

Miss Anything? Not having to give insulin all the time.

Movement: Feeling the movement more now then ever! :) Curtis is jealous! He wants to feel. But not quite strong enough for outside yet.

Food cravings: No big cravings this week..

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing really makes me sick anymore.

Have you started to show yet: Bump is getting more noticeable! :)
